I have a boy. Who plays with cars. I don't know why, but sometimes, even two and a half years later, I walk in on a scene like this and it still surprises me. WOW! HE'S A BOY! He's so fast, and so growly and dangerous, and SO STUBBORN, and he leaves little traces of his boyishness everywhere (especially on my HEART!), and I love every one of them.
Yup - this is such a boy scene! Soon it will be Lego's and then video games. :) And I bet your bigger boy will be joining the younger one in playing.

ReplyDeleteMy son is 20 months old now, and I have the same reaction! He is so different from his big sister, in such BOY ways. Just a few minutes ago he was banging a plastic lid on different surfaces in the house, just to see the different sounds it would make. (As I was typing this, he went over to my 4yo and bonked her on the head with a tower of Duplo blocks.)
